Compressed Biogas · India

Turning farm residue into clean fuel and living soil.

Nexvora Bioenergy operates Compressed Biogas (CBG) infrastructure, trades certified organic fertilizers, and procures agricultural biomass at scale — closing the loop between the farm and the fuel pump.

What we do

One company. Three connected businesses.

Energy generation, soil nutrition, and biomass supply are usually three separate industries. We run them as a single circular system — each vertical feeding the next.

Compressed Biogas (CBG)

Our anaerobic digestion plant converts agricultural residue and organic waste into pipeline-quality compressed biogas — a clean, indigenous substitute for CNG and LNG.

Why it matters

India burns what it could be banking.

Every season, millions of tonnes of crop residue are burnt in open fields — polluting air, degrading soil, and wasting energy that the country imports instead.

Nexvora's model intercepts that waste stream. Residue becomes biogas; the digestate that remains becomes fertilizer that returns nutrients to the same fields it came from.

  • Reduces stubble burning and urban air pollution
  • Creates a new, recurring income line for farmers
  • Cuts dependence on imported natural gas
  • Restores soil organic carbon through FOM application

Partner with the loop.

Whether you're a farmer with residue to sell, a distributor seeking organic fertilizer, or a fuel buyer — there's a place for you in the Nexvora ecosystem.

About Nexvora

Built on a simple belief: waste is misplaced wealth.

Nexvora Bioenergy exists to prove that rural India's biggest liability — agricultural waste — is actually one of its most valuable energy and nutrition assets.

Our story

From field problem to fuel solution.

Nexvora was founded to participate in India's transition toward clean, domestically produced energy. The Government of India's SATAT initiative (Sustainable Alternative Towards Affordable Transportation) opened the door for private CBG producers to supply oil marketing companies — and we walked through it.

But we saw early that a CBG plant is only as strong as its supply chain and as valuable as its by-products. So we built three businesses, not one: fuel production at the centre, biomass procurement feeding it, and fertilizer trading completing the circle.

Mission & values

What we stand on.

Energy independence

Every cubic metre of CBG we produce displaces imported fossil gas with fuel grown in Indian fields — strengthening rural economies and national energy security at once.

Soil before yield

Decades of chemical-only farming have depleted soil organic carbon. Our fertilizer business exists to put life back into the ground, season after season.

Fair, transparent trade

From farm-gate biomass prices to fertilizer dealer margins, we publish clear rates, weigh honestly, and pay on time. Trust is our longest-term asset.

Leadership approach

Operated like infrastructure. Run like a farm.

Our team blends process engineering, agri-supply-chain operations, and commodity trading experience. We make decisions on three timescales at once: today's digester feed, this season's procurement, and the decade-long health of the soils we serve.

Engineering discipline

Plant uptime, gas yield per tonne, and methane purity are tracked daily and reviewed weekly.

Agronomy on the ground

Field teams work directly with farmers on residue collection windows and FOM application.

Commercial rigour

Long-term offtake agreements and hedged procurement keep the model stable across seasons.

Compliance first

PESO, pollution control, and FCO fertilizer norms are treated as the floor, not the ceiling.

CBG Production

Our Compressed Biogas plant.

Industrial-scale anaerobic digestion converting agricultural residue into purified, compressed biogas — ready for vehicles, industry, and the gas grid.

The process

From residue to renewable fuel in four stages.

Feedstock reception

Paddy straw, press mud, napier grass, and cattle dung are weighed, quality-checked, shredded, and blended into a consistent digester feed.

Anaerobic digestion

In sealed, temperature-controlled digesters, microbes break down the biomass over several weeks, releasing raw biogas rich in methane.

Purification & upgrading

The raw gas is scrubbed of CO₂, H₂S, and moisture to reach over 90% methane — meeting BIS 16087:2016 quality standards for CBG.

Compression & dispatch

Purified gas is compressed to 250 bar into cascades for delivery to fuel retail outlets and industrial buyers.

Plant capability

Engineered for yield, built for uptime.

Our facility is designed around multi-feedstock flexibility — so seasonal changes in residue availability never stall production. Continuous monitoring of digester health, gas composition, and compression keeps quality consistent.

  • Multi-feedstock digestion: straw, press mud, dung, energy grasses
  • BIS 16087-compliant gas purity (>90% CH₄)
  • 250-bar cascade filling for road dispatch
  • On-site digestate processing into Fermented Organic Manure
  • Effluent recycling — process water is reused, not discharged
Who buys our gas

Offtake & applications.

CBG is chemically equivalent to CNG, which means it drops into existing infrastructure with zero modification.

Transport fuel

Supplied to oil marketing company retail outlets under SATAT, fuelling cars, buses, and commercial fleets at prices competitive with CNG.

Industrial energy

A clean replacement for furnace oil, LPG, and piped natural gas in boilers, kilns, and process heating for nearby industry.

City gas grids

CBG can be injected into city gas distribution networks, supplying households and commercial kitchens with renewable gas.

Fertilizer Trading

Organic fertilizers that close the nutrient loop.

The same fields that supply our biomass receive it back as Fermented Organic Manure — richer in carbon, microbes, and slow-release nutrition than what left.

Product range

What we trade.

We supply our own plant-produced FOM alongside a curated range of organic inputs sourced from certified partners.

Fermented Organic Manure (FOM)

The nutrient-dense digestate from our CBG process, stabilized and dried. Improves soil structure, water retention, and microbial life. FCO-compliant.

Liquid Fermented Organic Manure (LFOM)

Liquid bio-slurry rich in readily available nutrients and beneficial microbes — ideal for fertigation and foliar application in horticulture.

Bio-fertilizers & soil conditioners

Vermicompost, phosphate-rich organic manure (PROM), and microbial consortia from vetted partner producers — traded across our distribution network.
